In a nutshell, day 2 was a climbing day. We started the day with a 15 mile climb with nearly 5,000 of ascent for the day.
The best part of C2C is meeting fellow riders and getting out to explore various towns. While Adrian and Henry were out and about, we found what appears to be Bubba or his brother.
We end our blog today with the hit song by Talking Heads called Once in a Lifetime. We came to the realization that many of the themes capture our state of mind on C2C.

Making new friends on C2C.
After climbing nearly 5,000 feet, we found ourselves in the Jacumba mountains overlooking Mexico.
