Due to extenuating circumstances, the trip could not continue. So we will cycle four more days and end the ride in El Paso, TX and take a rent a car back home.
Before the cancellation, we visited Tombstone Brewery enjoying a Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout (10% abv) with fellow coasters Steve, Amy, Frances & Eddie.
Since the ride was cancelled, the bloggers stocked up on some amazing Tombstone Brewery craft beers for our ride back to the midwest.
We actually did an amazing 73 mile today and climbed 4,200 feet. That's all for now.
So very sorry to hear that the ride has to be cancelled. I was hoping that you would be in the clear, at least for half of Texas. Travel safely to El Paso, and then home.
